BizBeat plugin privacy policy

What this covers

This policy applies to BizBeat Business Insights, which connects a signed-in BizBeat account to supported AI clients. The general BizBeat privacy policy also applies to the mobile and web application.

Information processed

When you connect the plugin, BizBeat processes your account identifier, approved permissions, the selected business identifier, and requested read-only business data. Depending on your permissions, results can include business names, invoice status and amounts, customer names, aggregate expenses, tax totals, inventory levels, and collection priorities.

• We do not return passwords, legacy API tokens, bank-statement files, payment links, customer phone numbers or email addresses, tax IDs, or invoice PDFs through the plugin.
• The plugin cannot create, modify, send, delete, or mark records as paid.

Purpose and recipients

We use this information to authenticate the connection, enforce permissions, return requested results, and protect the service. Approved results go to the AI client you connect; that client has its own privacy practices. BizBeat does not sell plugin data or share it with advertisers.

Retention and controls

OAuth authorization requests expire within ten minutes, codes within five minutes, access tokens within one hour, and refresh tokens within thirty days. Token values are stored as one-way hashes. You can disconnect the plugin in your AI client's connected-app settings. Account deletion remains available under the general BizBeat privacy policy.
